My wife and I got to see your show while on Vacation and you were the highlight of our trip. The music was very well performed and you played such a mix that my wife and I both heard stuff we liked. In July of 2010, my wife (at the time girlfriend) and I saw Joe and his band at the BMC in the French Quarter. We loved the music and as we began to plan our wedding, we thought it would be great if he could play our wedding. We sent him an email and he quickly responded that he would be able to play the wedding. Throughout the planning process we would periodically come up with a song we wanted Joe to play. Every time he gladly accepted and began rehearsing the song specifically for the wedding. To make a long story short, planning the wedding was made much easier by Joe's flexibility and graciousness.
The wedding turned out great. Joe and his band drove all the way out to St Francisville, LA. He worked with our wedding coordinator to play some music we wanted for the ceremony itself. Then he quickly set up for the reception where he played some great, light jazz during the dinner portion. Then he picked up the pace and kept the crowd dancing the whole night. Every one of our guests raved about the performance and all had a blast. We can't say enough about his talent, professionalism, grasciousness and flexibility. If you are in need of a great band for your wedding or any party, look no further.

Joe, I just googled your name to learn what you were up to. I saw you and your band at Wis State Fair about 4 or 5 years ago in Stone's Throw Brewery tent. Was so impressed I bought a CD. What an entertainer!! I have followed Big Joe from his days at Walden, on to UW-Parkside, and of course bars, restaurants, festivals, etc. throughout Racine, Kenosha, & Milwaukee. I am well traveled and have not seen the caliber of performances from someone so young like Big Joe. You can tell he enjoys performing, and we love to listen! I wish all the best and success to this well seasoned jazz artist. He is one of the GOOD things that Racine can be proud of.
